Video Player Help

Digital archives of Sacramento City College video courses are available as Flash streaming and Quicktime download files.

Videos available in the Flash (.flv) streaming video format require the latest version of Flash to run properly. If you are not seeing the video on your class page, please go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download the lastest update to the Flash player from Adobe. Please note that a high speed internet connection is desirable for smooth and consistent playback when viewing the streaming Flash videos.

If your connection is slower and you would prefer to download the videos in the Quicktime (.mov) format, right click the “Quicktime download” link and save the file to your computer. If you are unable to play back this file you can either download the latest version of the free Quicktime video player at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ or you can download the VLC media player from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html which can play multiple file formats across platforms without downloading additional codecs.

For any further assistance with video playback or if a class failed to post after 24 hours of the original broadcast or recording, please click here to send an email and a tech will look into the issue and get back to you.
